Bio – Summary

Pierre Fleurent heads Canaccord Genuity’s Montreal Investment Banking Office. Most recently at Canaccord Genuity, he led the $115 million IPO of Lumenpulse (April 2014) and advised on the $826 million acquisition of Nordion Inc. (August 2014).

He was previously Managing Director at RBC Capital Markets where he was Head, Corporate Finance, Quebec, directing its corporate finance activities in the Province from 2004 to 2011 where, over a career of more than 24 years, he successfully directed many of the most important financings, M&A and advisory transactions.

Pierre obtained a B. Eng (Mech)-1987, MBA (Finance)- 1990 from McGill University and a CFA (1993). He also completed the Institute of Corporate Directors’ Program (Rotman-McGill) in 2011.

Pierre is a Member of Anges Québec and active in such investments.

He presently resides in Montreal with his wife Natalie and their family, Max Harrington and Alizée. They enjoy skiing and kite surfing amongst other activities. He is also keenly interested in arts and technology.
